Today I wasn't sure what new recipe to add, until I realized the answer was simple, and right in front of me. For the last couple of weeks, I've been really getting into putting our Peppermint water into my ice cube trays and adding to various beverages. So far, peppermint ice cubes go pretty well with ginger ale, lemonade, soda water with fresh lime and, today, I put them in my iced coffee.
When I make coffee with my french press, I never drink it all and so I put the unused portion into a pitcher and keep in my refrigerator to enjoy as an afternoon pick-me-up. Here is what I tried today:
Metromint Iced Coffee
1-2 cups strongly brewed coffee (today I had Ritual Roaster's Honduras)
1 glass filled to the top with Metromint Peppermint ice cubes*
1 tablespoon of agave syrup
Optional: creamer of choice.
Mix and enjoy!
*try using Chocolatemint for a less minty, more chocolate-y option
Great recipe. Do you mind if I repost it on my blog with a link to it?
